Godmother Story

When I was a college freshman, I got into some mischief. Dean Garner sent a letter home to my Mom placing me on Social Probation. When I arrived home my Mom and Godmother were very upset. My Mom wanted to spank me at eighteen years old.
My Godmother had so much faith in me that she did not believe that I had done anything wrong. She even almost convinced me that I had not done the deed. She asked for the letter from the school.
As far as I know she did not write to the Dean or call him. She prayed for me. Jesus said to have faith in Him like the four men did who lowered their paralyzed friend through a roof. Jesus honored their faith and healed the man.
I returned to school and the Dean called me into his office, tore up a copy of the letter he had mailed to my Mom and said the letter was no longer in my file and I was no longer on probation. There was no explanation as to why he did this.
I believe God honored my Godmother’s faith in me and that her faithful prayers interceded on my behalf.
