(Racism) My Poem, Martin Luther King Jr.
By Joanne DeHerrera
What is wrong with the so-called society today?
Don’t you know that Martin Luther King Jr. wanted equality?
Impartiality of our day is nothing but hatred still,
as he probably would say.
God is the God that stays in one place,
Not shallow or wishy-washy He has but One face.
The face of all,
Black, White, Spanish,
And everything else in-between,
Of the heavenly spectrum of the life,
Now that says within His resting-place.
Now, everyone just get along,
Our blood is but one,
Its red,
We bleed,
And when we all die,
We will be surprised,
That everyone has their place for those who believe,
The resting place of Everyone’s Eternity.
