Rest Assured
Rest Assured: To be certain that something will happen: to be assured; Rest assured that the police will recover your diamonds. I received these words from God at the perfect time.
My inspiration comes from my life experiences. For instance, I have been working in a certain field for the last two years. This field is very lucrative and I once considered those who held this position to be like rocket scientist. However, now, by the Grace of God, I stand in the very shoes that I once deemed too big.
Which brings me to this post. I was at work, in my new position, when I realized, I have a lot to learn, and on top of that, I have a lot to learn. In the mist of that thought, I walked to the other-side of the building to use the restroom. This was not unusual but when I opened the bathroom stall and read the words, “REST ASSURED,” now that was unusual.
It was unusual because I had been to this bathroom several times and had never noticed that the toilet protector’s holder had “Rest Assured” written dead smack in the middle. Wow, God had just spoken to me and told me that I have nothing to worry about because He is with me. Hallelujah!
For the next month, whenever I would start to worry or get anxious, I would see these words, “Rest Assured” written in plain site to remind me that God has a Covenant with me and that I can “Rest Assured” that everything He has promised will come to past.
Rebecca Rozenstraten, the perfect artist to beautify these words, came into the picture when I saw her work on Instagram. She did a piece that looked like the words were chiseled in a rock. Immediately I thought about “Rest Assured” because these two words together are as solid as a Rock.
I contacted her immediately, but it took awhile before I asked her to do the work. However, it was worth the wait! She went crazy on it. I love her style and detail.
